So what do you do at 10:45pm on a Sunday evening?

If you are anything like I am, I get these random urges to do things. And it never fails that I start some major projects late in the evening. (I've always said that I live in the wrong time zone!)

So, tonight I decided to make one of those reusable, insulated, wipe-off lunch bags. And I did. I first created a semi-mock up using paper, then I took those dimensions and tripled them to give me the dimensions to cut the piece out (yes, it is a single piece of fabric). I used an old section of one of those cheap, laminated tablecloths that had already been cut, folding it in half so that both sides of the lunch bag would be scrubbable.

Then I just sewed it up, and voila! The lunch bag:
I still have to add the velcro dots and the strap to carry it with, but I feel good..... And all in 30 minutes' time from cutting to end, including pulling out the machine!
